Ok folks, a little update. We seem to have found the cause, and at least for now have a temporary manual solution that will allow our CS folks to enable these characters to log-in. It will be a manual process however so it may take some time for them to get through them all.

The issue was linked to the new preference files becoming corrupted in some cases. This meant that the characters details couldn't be read correctly when it was requested by the client.

Hopefully the manual fix for these characters continues to work and we can get those characters effected playing again shortly.

This means you will have to use the support channels, either email or the petition tool (you can send the petition on another character that can log in). The support staff will be working through these as fast as they can. Please beat with them while they work through these requests.

In the meantime the coders will be working through to make an update with the full solution. So we should have a small update later in the week most likely.
